CMT3 Comprehensive Studies Program:

150 Hours

This course includes advanced studies that broaden and deepen the practitioner's knowledge and experience while granting the additional educational hours needed to obtain a business license in most states (please consult your local licensing board for the requirements in your area). There is an opportunity to focus on one area of study or to create a general course of study from one or more areas of concentration.

Certificate: Graduates of CMT3 Training receive a certificate to acknowledge 650 cumulative hours of training with PSoM. If actual course hours earned in CMT1 or CMT2 were less than 250 hours, credits may be made up with continuing education electives. Training may be completed within six months and must be completed within two years of beginning CMT1 (more time may be arranged by permission of the director).

Prerequisites: Completion of PSoM CMT1 and PSoM CMT2

 

Courses:

 

 

I. CONTINUING EDUCATION ELECTIVES: 100 or more credit hours, to total 650 cumulative credit hours at PSoM

Track I: An Advanced Assistantship to CMT1 Training (30 credit hours) and Continuing Education Electives (70 credit hours).
Develop communication and teaching skills and deepen your understanding of the techniques learned in CMT1 as you assist current CMT1 students. One-hundred-twenty participation hours earns 30 credit hours. Your commitment is your tuition, and there is no additional charge. (You may choose from any of our continuing education electives for the remaining 70 credit hours.)

Track II: Continuing Education Electives (100 or more credit hours).
CMT3 students may choose classes from any of the credit courses offered by PSoM to fulfill the continuing education elective requirement.

II. Anatomy Intensive - 50 credit hours.

III. PROFICIENCY EXAMINATION.

9 Massages - Four given to Professional Massage Therapists with at least 3 years experience and one to the School Director. Four received from Professional Massage Therapists with at least 3 years experience. (no credit hours assigned; critiques to be turned in).
