Chakras, Body Memory & Massage Class in Yelapa, Mexico
December 3 - 10, 2005

Explore aspects of yourself through ancient and modern understandings of the chakra system. Through exploration of the physical and psychological energy centers of the body, we investigate how past experiences and core beliefs can affect body/mind health in the present. These centers reflect our sense of survival, emotions, will, truth, vision, communication and wisdom. In this experiential class, participants delve into their personal relationship to each chakra through sound, movement, bodywork, meditation, art, journalling and group process. Come enjoy massage, meditation and movement on the beach, warm waters and exquisite sunsets.

Yelapa is a colorful harbor village on a quiet peninsula, about 45 minutes by boat south of Puerto Vallarta. There are no roads to or in Yelapa... just boats, horses, donkeys and an occasional bicycle. A river runs through it. You can walk to the village about 10 minutes on the other side of the river, or hike upstream to waterfalls and a swimming hole. We stay in cabanas on the beach and enjoy healthy meals served in an open air restaurant.
